Thank you for using Beads Counter. Your privacy matters, and this app was built with that in mind. This policy explains — in plain language — what the app does and does not do with your information.
Beads Counter does not collect, store, or share any personal data about you. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts. Everything you do in the app stays on your device (and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud account).
We collect nothing.
Beads Counter has no servers of its own, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not gather your name, email, location history, usage data, device identifiers, or any other personal information. We have no way to see how you use the app.
The app stores your data locally on your device so it can work. This includes things like your dhikr counts, custom dhikr, daily goals, streaks, history, and settings. This information lives on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party.
If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
If you have iCloud enabled, the app can sync some of your data — such as your custom dhikr, history, goals, and settings — across your own Apple devices. This uses Apple's iCloud service and your own private iCloud account.
We do not have access to this data. It is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy terms. You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in your device settings.
If you use the Qibla compass feature, the app uses your device's location and compass to calculate the direction of the Qibla. This happens entirely on your device in real time. Your location is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. If you do not use the Qibla feature, the app does not access your location at all.
If you enable the optional daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device. This is handled by your device and involves no personal data being sent anywhere.
Beads Counter does not include any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software (SDKs). The only external service involved is Apple's iCloud, and only if you choose to use it, under Apple's privacy terms.
If you choose to support the app through the optional "Buy me a coffee" link, that link opens in your browser and takes you to a third-party service (Buy Me a Coffee), which has its own privacy policy. We do not receive any personal information about you through that link.
