This policy explains what Next Set Gym Tracker ("the app", "we") does with your information. It applies to the iOS and iPadOS app published by us.
Short version: your workouts stay on your device. The only data leaving it is what Google's advertising service needs to show ads in the free version, and anything you choose to sync to your own iCloud account.
The app has no sign-up, no login and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth, and we have no way to identify you personally.
Everything you enter — routines, exercises, sets, reps, weights, form ratings, notes and workout history — is stored locally on your device.
If you turn on iCloud sync (a Pro feature), that data is also stored in your own private iCloud database so it can appear on your other devices and be restored if you lose your phone. That storage is controlled by Apple under your Apple Account. We have no access to it, cannot read it, and cannot recover it for you. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings.
We do not operate any server that receives your workout data.
The optional "Scan a written routine" feature can read a photograph of a written workout plan, or a screenshot you select from your photo library.
Images are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Photos are not uploaded, stored by us, or sent to any third party. The app only keeps the exercise names, sets and reps you confirm on the review screen.
Camera and photo library access are requested only when you use this feature, and the app works fully without granting them.
The free version of the app displays banner advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect:
This information is collected by Google, not by us, and may be used to personalise advertising and measure ad performance. We do not receive it, and we cannot link it to you.
