This Privacy Policy explains how Tendil: Document Vault ("Tendil", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. It applies to the iOS app published by Tendil.

In short: Tendil is designed to be private. Your documents and data are stored on your device only. We do not run servers that receive your content, we do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or track your personal data.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect your personal data.

Everything you add to Tendil — documents, scanned text, reminders, checklists, and notes — is created and stored locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party by the app.

We have no servers that store your content, and we cannot see, access, or recover your data.

2. How your data is stored

• Your documents and app data are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
• Sensitive content is encrypted on your device.
• Access to the app can be protected with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, handled entirely by Apple's system. Tendil never sees your biometric data.

3. When data leaves your device

Data only leaves your device when you choose to move it:

• Share / export: If you use the share feature, you choose the destination (for example AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or Files). What happens to the file after that is governed by the app or service you send it to.
• Encrypted backups: If you create a backup, the file is encrypted with a password you choose and saved wherever you decide. We do not receive it and cannot open it. If you lose the password, the backup cannot be recovered.

Tendil does not upload your content anywhere automatically.
